Over the last decade, Dylan Griffin has established himself as a key figure in Australia’s club realm. Equally comfortable working behind-the-scenes or commanding a prominent position, Dylan’s passion, industry knowledge and technical prowess has lead to him representing, and playing for, many leading electronic music associations from Australia’s east coast.
Based in Melbourne, Dylan is one of the state’s foremost DJs and become somewhat of a festival specialist after years of DJing at world renowned Melbourne festivals like Rainbow Serpent Festival, Chi Wow Wah Town and Let Them Eat Cake as well as interstate festivals such as Earth Frequency, Eclipse, Peats Ridge, Manifest and of course his long standing residency at Subsonic Music Festival.
It is this experience that has led Dylan to headline shows in Australia, Denmark, India and Thailand and playing for international festival outfits such as Kolour & Shipsomnia. His versatility as a DJ has been demonstrated by being booked to support (playing directly before or after) the likes of international heavyweights Sascha Braemer, Alexkid, Max Cooper, Sammy Dee, Gabriel Ananda, Rodriguez Jr., Francis Harris, Archie Hamilton, The Orb, Boris Brejcha, Oliver Schories, Simon Baker, Kosmas Epsilon, David Keno, Philip Bader, Cesare vs. Disorder and many more.
Outside of the DJ booth Dylan produces & presents the renowned AU Underground podcast series which he founded in 2012 and has become not only Australia’s premier electronic music podcast but a rising club brand with selective showcases each year in some of the countries most famed nightclubs. And with Dylan regularly DJing at Australian clubbing institutions such as Piknic Electronik, Revolver, elsewhere, SASH, Stable Music, Doesn’t Matter, Vision Hound, Bunk3r, Killing Time, My Aeon, Darkbeat and New Guernica amongst many others, he also complements his weekend DJing by hosting a weekly slot on legendary Melbourne radio station Kiss FM and honing his production. It is this creed that defines Dylan as a staple of Australia’s club culture and a man committed to introducing listeners to an eclectic assortment of club-focused cuts.
